I was extremely excited and twice as nervous for my photo shoot with Steve. Past my senior photos, I had never been in front of anything but a cell-phone or grandparent-operated camera. Right away Steve made me feel comfortable. As someone who is generally over-clothed and fairly shy when it comes to nudity, I was way more relaxed than I anticipated. Steve is a pleasure to work with. Thanks to him I was able to conquer my camera-fright and cross something off my bucket list! Definitely something I wouldn’t have been able to do with any other photographer!

Before shooting with Steve, I read all of his feedback and recommendations, and it made me feel more comfortable knowing that so many people spoke so highly of him. That being said, when the day finally came, I was still nervous. I had never shot with a photographer before, and had some reservations. How should I stand? What faces should I make? My self esteem has never been very high, and it’s rare that I find pictures of myself that I like.
But Steve made me feel completely comfortable. He turned on some music, and we had a great time. He made me laugh, and helped me get over the things I was feeling insecure about. The pictures turned out lovely, and I’m so happy that I went through the experience. It has given me a great deal more confidence, and I felt so beautiful.

I had a wonderful experience with Steve! My photo shoot with Steve was sublime. At first I was a little anxious and a bit nervous about the whole things. But when he arrived it was just like I was hanging out with an old friend. He was very polite and informed me he would arrive a bit early. I selected some music and we got to work. I had feared it would be very structured and he would tell me I HAD to pose a certain way, but it was nothing like that — I just pranced around happily being me. Working with Steve was both an absolute honor and my extreme pleasure. I suppose for many people, nudity in front of the camera is the last final hurdle — to drop your guard and allow the camera to see you as you really are. For me, nudity wasn’t the final hurdle. Steve wanted to photograph me without makeup, and for me this was very intimidating. But he made me feel comfortable and beautiful, looking just the way I was – natural. He was very professional, yet fun to work with, and he made me feel very comfortable in front of the camera.
I cannot recommend him highly enough as both a photographer and an artist who doesn’t create beauty, he captures the beauty you already possess. I am deeply grateful and honored that he wanted to work with me, and I look forward to the possibility of working with him again in the future.

Working with Steve was a wonderful experience. This was my first Photo Shoot and I was extremely nervous, but Steve put me to ease very quickly. He put on some good music, helped me pick out some outfits, and we got right to work.
The shoot was fantastic! Since I have no real ‘modeling’ experience, Steve instructed me how pose and even demonstrated some poses himself, which was extremely helpful and made me feel much more relaxed. He joked, made me laugh and I felt very comfortable with him. Even though I was naked throughout most of the shoot, I never felt ‘exposed’ – it was all about art and creativity. Although the entire experience was very professional, Steve also made it feel personal and made me feel very comfortable. Overall, it was one of the best experiences I have ever had and I can’t wait to do it again. I highly recommend Steve.

Backdrop. Lights. Music. Camera. Pose! Working with Steve has been one of my best experiences as a model, to date. We plotted, um… I mean, negotiated, ahead of time, so we were both as prepared as could be. I made sure to have the living room cleared and prepped, along with the outfits I wanted. He was prompt, professional, and efficient.
The shoot went fantastically well. Fast, too. I could not believe that we had already spent our allotted time (plus a little extra)! Set up was quick, and the music selection was perfect. We conversed, joked, and laughed the entire time.

Normally, cameras kinda scare me and I’m trying to get past that. Working with Steve helped me to become comfortable with the camera and give the sort of smiles that shows my teeth.

As a model who has worked with many photographers, I rate my shoot with Steve as one of the best shoots I have ever had. Steve made my husband and me feel instantly comfortable, and he was extremely helpful with wardrobe, posing, and watching for the little details.
While Steve came with ideas for shots he wanted to try, he was also wide open to my ideas. It turned out to be a real collaboration, which is how I love to work.

Along with the fact I had never done a photo shoot without my perspective ‘other’, this was totally different than previous shoots. Not so harsh, a lot more ‘relaxed’. My husband and I had our first photo shoot today, something we had never done before. For one, the atmosphere made you forget that you were there standing in front of the eye of a camera. It felt so natural to have photographs taken. For two, I was a little wary earlier that morning before the shoot about posing nude. At 35 weeks pregnant, I suddenly felt HUGE, but once I got there, relaxed, and got on set, my nudity was a mere back thought. The backdrops became my clothing, and no longer did I feel so exposed.
For once, so late in this pregnancy, I felt *sexy* and comfortable in the 40 extra gained pounds. And even with the afterthought, I *still* feel sexy, and I have Steve and his photography to thank for that.
Steve captured some adorable moments of my husband. As Brandon stated, the man is a 5 out of 5 stars.
